Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ (/ˈmɪbɛ/ /ˈsə̝dgɪ/ [pond] [society]) is a subtropical Large Town located in Pugenave Parish, Bw-186ynæd District, within the Federation of Alveria.

The name Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ is derived from the Constructi language, as Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ was founded by Ed-87i 'FX-7' Treg̈kë, who was culturaly Constructi.

Climate

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 32°C (89°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ receives an average of 231 cm/y (90 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ covers an area of nearly 6 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5172 m (16968 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ was founded durring the late 13th century in fall of the year 1178, by Ed-87i 'FX-7' Treg̈kë. The establishment of Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Ed-87i 'FX-7' Treg̈kë struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ as a prison colony.

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ was built using the conventions of Constructi durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive flagstone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Unfortuantly, these exceptionaly well made fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

The first thing you notice about Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ is the large sign at the entrance welcoming you to their humble town. Children come up to you and say hi, some asking if you’ve fought any big monsters, and others just zipping away after their hello. The adults are much the same. By the time you’ve made it a significant way into the town you’ve been invited to a tavern for a pint to drink in exchange for news of the world. You’ve also had no less than three older women give you a sweetroll and direct your attention to their still unmarried children. It would be creepy if it wasn't so sincere.

Civic Infrastructure

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ possesses a city-wide Aethary Link which provides Aethary access anywhere within its metropolitan. This allows citizens who can afford the relevant devices access in their places of work, and rarely homes.

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ's parks.

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ.

Cultural Notes

Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for the combined use of arcuated and trabeated construction, employing arches and constructed with post and lintel. The arch served as the style's chief structural element, with flanking columns serving as buttresses or decorations. While the general shape of their structures could be generously described as simplistic, the use of these arches and columns created a most distinct ascetic which is easily distinguishable on sight to armatures and experts alike.

In Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ all of the cats speak the local language with prefect diction.

History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ lost 259 people, 251 livestock, and 25 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 103, when members of Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ's militia enacted an operation to secure a particular fortification to utilize it for a specific task. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in defeat for Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Wæm Mǐbě-sădgǐ's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
